If you like all the bike talk that ive been spouting the past week then follow my new blog which ive set up just for cycling stuff!
Happy to see that despite Ferrari’s kamikaze move in todays sprint Phinney wasn’t out as first feared and is able to continue despite not having finished the stage on the bike, Cavendish wont be as happy though. Ferrari’s been relegated from todays stage (finishes in last place) but will thank his lucky stars hes able to continue.
Tomorrow is the Giro’s first enforced rest day due to the massive transfer back to Italy and hopefully we will see Cav right up there fighting for the win in stage 4 which finishes in Verona.

Taylor Phinney took the win in yesterdays Prologue in the Giro and i have to say i couldn’t be happier to see a Brit being beaten, if it was going to be anyone beating Thomas im glad it was Taylor.
So this time tomorrow the Prologue for the 2012 Giro D’Italia will be finished and the Giro will be well underway, i know its not the Tour de France and outside of the cycling world it doesn’t really register but The Giro is easily my favourite Grand Tour and i cannot wait for it to get started.
Should be a chance for Cav to get some wins under his belt aswel with a much easier route for this years Giro compared to last years monster route, also cant wait to see Henao in his first Grand Tour for Team Sky. Got my Velogames Giro Fantasy Team all set up and ready and ill post a shot of my team later on today.
